G.F. TeleVet created the first clinician- officer program (C.O.P.) in Mississippi. Law enforcement officers (L.E.O.s) partner with nurses and clinicians at G.F. TeleVet. C.O.P. provides technical assistance to L.E.O.s to improve mental health partnerships within the community. The aim is to educate law enforcement on mental health symptoms & reduce unnecessary arrests and incarceration of individuals with mental health disorders by using real-time technology.
